Fully restored with passion and love, the house sits between two historic gardens featuring old citrus trees, Mediterranean flowers, and a variety of plants. The ground floor opens onto the garden, which also houses a beautiful jacuzzi/pool. Generous windows invite the garden into the house and offer wonderful views of the Mediterranean fauna.

A spacious and state-of-the-art kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, and vaulted ceilings, as well as antique floor tiles, respect the history of this exquisite house. In winter, a beautiful stone fireplace allows you to enjoy the wonderful smell of burning olive wood and to completely relax.

Salento-style old town house

The first floor is surrounded by south-facing terraces which offer views across the citrus garden and Nardò’s old town. The first-floor kitchenette adds flexibility. It’s perfect for brewing a morning coffee, preparing a bottle for the baby, or preparing a light breakfast.

The property is a marvelous Salento-style renovation, using traditional materials and respecting its original beauty while offering all the comforts of a modern house.

For your relaxation and comfort, the garden includes a large sunbathing mattress, sun loungers, a wooden table with six chairs, and a glass table directly outside the kitchen with four chairs. The jacuzzi/pool uses salt filtering and is either heated by the beautiful Salento sun or by a heat pump.

Spacious terraces to enjoy Nardò’s sunshine

On the first-floor terrace, you find a stone dining table with four chairs as well as two easy chairs to relax.
On the upper terrace, you can admire the sunsets and enjoy a drink at the coffee table or relax in the lounge chairs.

You find us in Nardò, a charming town near Lecce in southern Puglia, Italy. Our properties are all situated in the heart of the historic old town, just a minute’s walk from Piazza Salandra, the stunning baroque central square, and the Nardò Castle, which features a beautiful botanical garden.

How do we get there ?

Reaching us is easy! You can travel by plane, train, or car. If you’re driving, it’s approximately 45 minutes from Brindisi Airport and about 1 hour and 45 minutes from Bari Airport. Our boutique places in the old town are just 3 miles (5 km) from the highway exit.

How far is it to the closest beach?

You’ll find sandy beaches just 8 miles (12 km) away, and the rocky coastline at Parco di Porto Selvaggio is only 5 miles (8 km) from us. Also, Nardò’s own sandy town beaches, Santa Maria al Bagno and Santa Caterina, complete with bars and restaurants, are only 5 miles (8 km) away.

Is parking available?

We are located in the old town, which is a limited traffic zone, allowing access only on your arrival and departure days. However, you can park just 250 to 350 meters (approximately 820 to 1,150 feet) from the properties, and we will guide you to the most convenient parking options.

Is medical assistance readily available?

Yes, both public and private healthcare services are accessible. You can find private clinics and public hospitals in Lecce, Galatina, Gallipoli, and Copertino, all within a 16-mile radius, with the nearest A&E units in Gallipoli and Copertino. Besides, there are private practices in Nardò and an ambulatory care facility.

Are there restaurants and bars nearby?

Yes, we do provide beach towels and a beach umbrella.

Is the kitchen fully equipped?

All kitchens are fully equipped with cutlery, pots, pans, and utensils and offer either a 3- or 5-ring gas or electric hob, an oven or microwave, fridge/freezer, mixer, dishwasher (except La Botte!), espresso maker, and kettle.

Is there a safe?

For your convenience, each accommodation is equipped with a safe. Besides, in all properties there is a fire extinguisher, a CO2 detector, and a gas detector (where relevant).

Are you taking any actions to address CO2 impact and climate change?

We utilize certified green electricity and generate hot water using solar panels.

We are proud to significantly offset our CO2 emissions by having adopted 40 olive trees through the Olivami non-profit association, which is dedicated to reforesting Salento.

What is your cancellation policy?

In the event of cancellation of the booking on your part within 45 days of the date of arrival, the deposit is non-refundable. In case of cancellation more than 45 days before the arrival date, 50% of the deposit will be returned. We recommend that our customers take out travel insurance.
